Key research areas at the institute

The teaching staff at Eszterházy Károly University Gyöngyös Campus are widely linked to the declared research and tender topics, in which the students are actively involved, too. In the course of current researches within the institute that affect different disciplines, outstanding collaborations are born, which results are indicated by the formulated indicators. Working in different tenders clearly demonstrates the complexity of the various research areas, the need and success for joint cooperation. A good example of the mentioned above, when Kossuth Course of Lakitelek College did a survey in spring and autumn of 2011 in order to get information about the economic and financial awareness, and the opinion of the population. The survey was carried out by students, who studied at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at different Hungarian universities and colleges, led by their mentors, teachers. 1132 people were interviewed during the first survey, while 1749 people were asked for the second time by the students.
